AKTS Corporation's Thermokinetics can predict lifespan from accelerated test data using reaction kinetics and the Akaike Information Criterion. The storage test of lithium-ion batteries is also an accelerated test, estimating the capacity retention rate 10 years into the future from data on battery capacity retention rates. Instead of estimating lifespan through conventional methods, we calculate the degradation reaction model and its activation energy from the obtained measurement data. We estimate battery life from cycle test and retention test data of lithium-ion batteries.

AKTS Corporation's Thermokinetics can predict lifespan from accelerated test data using reaction kinetics and the Akaike Information Criterion. From the capacity retention data of retention test data and charge-discharge cycle test data, we derive the reaction model equations for calendar life and cycle life.
